Chyyrchyck summer camp is at 2400 meters above sea level. It is the first pass on Pamir Highway to Tajikistan. About one hundred shepherds come from all over the region and camp here with their livestock. According to some locals, they consider this place as the largest summer camp in south Kyrgyzstan. Most people come here and do business with selling and buying horse’s milk, fermented mare’s milk, slightly alcoholic. Most of the tours of Visit Alay start right from this pass. In fact, Beshkonush is a gorge at the entrance to Alay valley. It is just 60 km from Osh city to the direction of Sarytash village. You will see a lot of yurts when you go deep into the gorge. Locals frequently arrange horse games in this gorge during summer time. It is the right gorge for those who are eager to do short day trips from Osh city. Just take shared taxi heading on to Gulcha village from Osh city and be dropped off from the car when you see the arch "Alay region" under Chyyrchyck pass. Tunr right and enter the gorge.
